The vision for our online trauma ministry originated more than four years ago when Dr. Stanfield received an urgent plea for help from a lady in Australia. She had experienced severe childhood trauma and her life had been totally devastated from the residual effects of that trauma.
Dr. Stanfield attempted to explain that Free Indeed Ministries was hardly a year old itself and that he was trying to establish a presence in Jacksonville, Florida to reach trauma victims. After giving her his explanation and apologizing for being unable to help her, she asked a question that pierced his heart. She asked, “Doesn't God care about the people across the world who are also suffering?”
He never forgot her question. God used that very cry for help to inspire the creation of Global Strategic Alliance International Trauma Center four years later. We praise God and are so excited to announce that on June 30th, 2008, Global Strategic Alliance International Trauma Center opens its Internet ministry to extend God’s healing to adult victims of childhood trauma worldwide.
